Kim is a graphic designer (BEd, B.Des) and fine artist from Lincoln, Ontario with an extensive consumer product background in the cycling and toy industry. From her home studio she provides local and international clients with design excellence taking on the form of product graphics, identities, marketing collateral, packaging and illustration. Kim is constantly working on fine art pieces for display, purchase and commission.
ARTIST STATEMENT “As an artist and outdoor enthusiast, I am extremely conscious of the materials and processes used in my artwork. Most or if not all of my pieces use recycled canvases, old latex house paint, mis-tints or some other reused component. It gives me a great sense of accomplishment to re-purpose unwanted discarded and damaged items from thrift stores by turning them into new artworks. Working with acrylics, latex paint, inks and other mixed media keeps me busy in the studio. My style is a fusion of my graphic design and fine arts training. It is always evolving as I am forever in the creative space experimenting with new techniques and constantly learning.
